Kristofer Andersson is specialized on developing software for Microsoft platforms and environments. He has fifteen years experience developing software using Microsoft's development tools, including eleven years experience with n-tier Microsoft architecture. He has strong skills in software architecture, and has modeled very large relational databases with high performance realtime handling of large data and transaction volumes.

Huagati Systems Co Ltd, Bangkok, Thailand, November 2004 - present

Huagati Systems was founded by Kristofer and his family after returning to Bangkok, Thailand from Ft Lauderdale, Florida in 2004. Software developed by Kristofer while running Huagati Systems includes:

  • A new ASP.NET-based airline web booking engine, and a gateway for Open Travel OTA message exchange, interface software for SITA CUTE and ARINC MUSE and various GUI and backend functionality for RRTechnologies' ResultS airline reservation system.
  • Web based data dissemination software, data interchange software and charting utilities for United Nations UNESCAP Statistics Division, as well as provided consulting services for the commission of statistics software from OECD within UNESCAP SD.
  • New functionality for airline and hotel reservation websites for Swedish travel industry consultant Ezy Webwerkstaden AB.
  • A booking gateway and interline codeshare software for Nokair and SGA's co-branding of flight operations.
  • Analysis of the data model and live database usage of Swiss Softair AG's CargoSpot product at customer systems, implemented data model changes and recommended software and configuration changes that led to significant performance improvements across their customer base. Softair AG was acquired by Champ Cargosystems in 2007.
  • A commodity and currency hedging and risk management system, based on SQL Server 2005, C#, Linq, ASP.net and Ajax under .net 3.5/Visual Studio 2008. The system has been deployed at Padaeng Industry PCL in Thailand.
  • Integrated a travel agency website with their backend GDS based reservations system for direct online air ticket reservation.


  • Results Reservation Technologies Ltd (RRTechnologies), Ft Lauderdale, Florida, August 2002 - October 2004

    Kristofer joined RRTechnologies after receiving an offer to join their development team in Miramar outside Ft Lauderdale, Florida. Kristofer converted an old airline reservation system from 16-bit Windows to 32-bit and subsequently to re-developed key parts of the system, extended and improved functionality. The system as ResultS and has been deployed at Spirit Airlines, Nok Air, FlyNordic, AeroCalifornia, Mango, Viva Aerobus, ExpressJet and several other LCCs.

    Global Care Solutions, Bangkok, Thailand, March 1999 - April 2002

    In 1999 Kristofer moved from Sweden to Thailand after receiving an offer from Bumrungrad Hospital and Global Care Solutions (GCS) in Bangkok to develop the world's first totally integrated hospital information system. Kristofer developed several key parts of the Hospital 2000 system, including data modeling, middle tier components, client side applications and web interfaces. Kristofer was responsible for over 40 different components and applications, or about 25% of the components in the system that went live at Bumrungrad Hospital in December 1999.

    Kristofer also referred and helped GCS to recruit several of the company's key developers and business analysts. GCS was bought by Microsoft Corporation in 2007.

    Self Employed, Sweden, July 1998 - March 1999

    Kristofer was self employed within the family company, PoCo Engineering AB in 1998. He developed software for a range of clients; ISVs as well as other consulting companies.

    Hogia, Stenungsund, Sweden, June 1993 - June 1998

    After finishing studies in 1993, Kristofer started working full time at Hogia's payroll software division. He had previously worked for Hogia during summer holidays and school vacations since 1990.

    During his time at Hogia, Kristofer developed three generations of payroll software based on DOS, 16 bit Windows and 32 bit Windows and various other applications.

    The payroll systems Kristofer developed are still the most sold and used payroll systems in Sweden. The 32 bit payroll system was the first Swedish software package to receive the “Designed for Windows 95” logo in 1995. In 1997 he developed Hogia PA-Intranet, a self service web interface for the payroll software that allows employees to fill out their time sheets, change personal information, and view their pay slips and other employment related information online. This was one of the world's first web-based applications in this field, and it was deployed at and used by, amongst others, Microsoft Sweden, Coca Cola Sweden.
